Join The Litter-Picking Revolution: Clean Up Our School, Clean Up Our Community

NuGen Waste are proud to be teaming up with local schools to create a litter picking drive.

By providing all of the necessary safety equipment to participate in the drive, including pickers, hoops, hi-vis vests, gloves, and bags, we hope my making it easy for the schools we will be able to get more involved.

This drive is designed to clean up the school playgrounds and local areas in our community, helping to make them more enjoyable and safe places for everyone.

The need for these services is vast; unfortunately, littering has a serious effect on our environment and communities. It not only looks unsightly, but is also hazardous.

We feel it's essential to educate our children about the consequences of littering, and the importance of disposing of their waste responsibly. As well as providing a great service to the community it is an opportunity for them to work together as a team and feel the pleasure of making a difference.

By talking to the children during the pick we were able to give them more of an understanding of how it can harm wildlife as well as damage local habitats. This has been a valuable lesson for them, and we hope that they will take this knowledge on board and be more conscious about disposing of rubbish correctly.

We have seen tremendous success in our sessions so far. The children have been engaged and enthusiastic about the process, taking it seriously and taking pride in what they have done. Passersby have commented positively on this, thanking the children for their hard work which boosted their motivation.

We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this project so far. It's amazing to see the enthusiasm and dedication from the children, teachers and parents who have come together to make a difference. We strongly believe that this kind of initiative is essential for creating a more sustainable future for our planet, and it's great to see so many people coming together to take action.
