Terms & Conditions

These are the Terms and Conditions which govern the business carried out by NuGen Recycling & Environmental Solutions Ltd. 

Definitions as referred to within this document: 

The Company 

NuGen Recycling & Environmental Solutions Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “NuGen”) 

Is a company registered in Scotland with Company Number SC648987 and whose registered office is at Unit 3, 7 Drovers Road, East Mains Industrial Estate, Broxburn, EH52 5ND. 

The Client 

The Client indicates the Person or Business named in any quotation, estimate and/or booking confirmation or any authorised representative of that Client to whom NuGen is offering or has agreed to provide the Services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 

Property 

The Property identifies the location, site or place of which the Client instructed the works carried out to take place. This may cover multiple locations. 

Services 

The Services identifies the execution of works including removal and/or clearance and/or recycling and/or cleaning and/or destruction provided by NuGen to the Client as set out in a quote, estimate or booking confirmation or otherwise as agreed either in writing or verbally. 

Basis of Services: 

1. All work and services undertaken by NuGen are subject to these terms and conditions. They are deemed to have been accepted by the Client by accepting the quotation and prior to the services taking place. 
   
   
2. The Client agrees that prior to the Services being carried out, all items not to be cleared have been taken from the Property beforehand or are clearly identified as "not to be taken" to avoid any confusion. Anything else will be cleared and disposed of accordingly.
   
   
3. By accepting these terms and conditions the Client warrants Nugen the full authority to collect and recycle/dispose of the contents of the Property as seen fit, through donation, recycling, resale or disposal.
   
   
4. Any quotation is conditional upon the job being as described by the Client or viewed by NuGen employees. Should NuGen subsequently discover that the job is not as described and will require larger costs than the information provided, the quotation will be adjusted accordingly.
   
   
5. The Client shall bear any costs or expenses suffered or incurred by NuGen due to any third party, resulting from the Client not having the authority to clear the Property. 
   
   
6. The Client confirms that all paperwork, computer hardware or the likes that NuGen remove from the Property is not of a confidential nature and can be recycled through the normal channels. Any items containing confidential information which requires shredding or drives wipes should be identified.  The Client shall bear any costs or expenses suffered by NuGen from any claim of data breach that may arise from any third party because you have not taken the necessary precautions regarding data protection.
   
   
7. The Client must inform NuGen of any items within the Property which contains hazardous materials or hazardous waste, i.e Asbestos, Sharps, Chemical or Biological Waste. 
   
   
8. NuGen will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill, any accidental damages to the Property that may be caused will be rectified. 
   
   
9. NuGen will endeavour to undertake the clearance on the date and time agreed but there may be delays due to circumstances beyond control, in this case the Client will be informed, and if necessary, arrange a revised date as soon as possible. 

Payment:  

For domestic clearances payment must be made prior or on the day of completion of the clearance by bank transfer, via our online payment system or unless otherwise agreed. All costs are subject to VAT.  For commercial clearances payment terms will be as agreed between NuGen and the Client. 

All waste from the property is the Clients property and responsibility until our invoice has been paid. NuGen reserve the right to off load your waste back at the Property should invoice not be paid. 

Cancellation Policy: 

Once the Client has agreed and booked the Services with NuGen, should the Client cancel the Services with less than 7 days notice before the date scheduled, and NuGen cannot book another job for the same period the Client may be subject to a cancellation fee. 

The cancellation fee will be equivalent to 20% of the quotation price. 

Privacy Policy: 

The team at NuGen respects every individual's right to personal privacy. Any images used for marketing purposes will not contain any personal information of the Client. The Client should inform NuGen should they not wish their Property by photographed for use by NuGen Marketing.
