Testimonials

  • What areas do you cover

We cover all of Livingston and its surrounds

Livingston, the largest West Lothian town, is an exciting, modern centre that offers many attractions to residents and visitors. It's the ideal place for anyone looking for something different in central Scotland.

Livingston was once a farm area. It grew with the discovery in 1852 of shale oil. Livingston, which was the site of the first major oil boom in the region, became home to many local miners.

Livingston Village, as it's now called, is a charming village. Take a walk down Main Street to see the original miner cottages and small shops, and then have a drink or bite at the Livingston Inn. Robert Burns was a famous Livingston resident who built it in 1760.

Livingston was among five newly created towns under the New Towns Act of Scotland, which was passed in 1946.
